Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Melbourne

I recently celebrated my 24th birthday and decided it was time to spoil myself and stay a night at Pan Pacific Melbourne (previously know as Hilton Melbourne South Wharf)

As I had a big group coming into the room before we headed off for the night to celebrate the option for a twin room wasn’t ideal, thankfully two-bedroom apartments were available.

The suites two bedrooms feature a king-sized bed and twin beds which have two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and bath. Both rooms are separated by a hallway which leads into the lounge area with an LCD TV (local and cable channels) and separated kitchenette with fully stocked mini bar so you can indulged yourself whilst overlooking the City Skyline or Port Phillip Bay. Being on the top floor is it quite amazing how spectacular the City of Melbourne is during the day and especially at night.

If you one that enjoys a full buffet breakfast, then head down stairs to Dock 37 Bar & Kitchen the restaurant also does an A La Carte Dinner. If breakfast isn’t included in your room rate is can be added to your room account for $39 per person.

There are numerous room options available which include:

  • Deluxe Room
  • Family Queen Room
  • Premier King City Skyline Room

If you’re a Pacific Club Member you can enjoy the following rooms:

  • Pacific Club King Room
  • Yarra Suite
  • Panoramic Suite

The hotel is in Melbourne’s South Wharf precinct near great food and drinking experiences plus if you’re feeling like getting yourself a bargain South Wharf DFO is directly across the road. Heading into the CBD is easier then you think, the tram stop is located between Crown and MCEC so you can explore more parts of the city.

A huge thank you to all the helpful staff at Pan Pacific Melbourne for your hospitality and for helping me celebrate my birthday, I look forward to staying again in the future.

Happy Travels,
